So what is 3-3×6+2=?
so say the answer is +2 or 0 or -13 or -17 or 21
So how do we need calculate this? We have to follow the principle called BODMAS
So what is it?
Whenever we start any calculation follow the below steps in same order
- B for Bracket first
- O for Orders(i.e. Powers and square roots)
- DM for Division or Multiplication (left to right)
- AS for Addition or Subtraction (left to right)
HereĀ 3 – 3 x 6 + 2 = ?
Now Apply BODMAS
We don’t have Brackets(B), Order(O) & next is Division(D) & Multiplication(M) since we don’t have any division so we are multiplying
3 – 18 + 2 = ?
Next is Addition(A) & Subtraction(S) here we have both so we are starting from left so
-15 + 2 = ?
Finally
-13
